I’ve already complained about the absolute ridiculous copycatting of the House of Holland t-shirts earlier today, and that’s not all, I’m so totally fed up with krahiiiiiiieeeezy prints and shit, it sort of reached its level for me. The only prints I actually like nowadays are the ones from Mr. Frames, the mastermind behind the Nails Did T-shirts. Today he has teamed up with M.I.S.S-crew for a sexy ass limited edition design the Nails Did way;

But I don’t wanna have M.I.S.S crew printed all over my chest either, and that "Sticky Green" is sold out so I prefer this one instead; "The Nails Did LA".

Doris Lessing’s take on winning the Nobel Prize in literature yesterday was awesome and probably the best thing aired on a news broadcast on telly for years. She was not surprised at all; she was more irritated, cuz as she said "Well, it’s been up for like 30 years now, I’ve won every fucking award there is to win". Then the reporter of the biggest news show in Sweden tried to imply that this was the biggest award and recognition any writer could get, she just said "Well, please move of my pavement, I wanna go inside my house now. Such a peculiar woman, and so loveable!

Well, while I’m running my mouth about talent, this is a girl who lacks in most likely everything, but I just l o v e Shamim! Not cuz of her "music", no, the reason is that I’ve laughed at this for 2 days now, constantly, she’s so damn funny. First I thought it was a joke, a good old spoof or something, but I’m afraid this girl is dead serious. Well, check the video, and then u asks yourself why the hell the record companies don’t wanna sign her? Well, Shamim, I’ve got the answer for you kiddo (she’s 13), u suck, YOU’RE killing ME dear. Ur just lost in TRON-slation. Check yourself BEFORE u start throwing big rocks in a small house of glass. It easily breaks u know. Can't u understand?

Remember the line Fafi did for Adidas? Now she’s back with the fall collection for Married to the Mob, but I’m not feeling it at all, cuz she’s snitched things from the pomo-artist Barbara Kruger’s "True-isms" and snitching is not OK. But I still like the work Fafi did for Adicolor and thank God for Ndeur, or Mathieu Missiaen which is his actual name, a 25 year old Graphist/Platician from Paris now based in Canada. Ndeur knows how to make shoes look totally fab, no matter if it’s sneaks or high heels, with boomboxes or joysticks. I mean, just look at these customized darlings from the shop in Berlin;

OHMYGOD! When summer’s definitely over, this come a good tease for the next one. Usually all New Era collabs tends to suck, (remember the plumber hat they did with 10 Deep? Ugliest hat EVER). But every now and then it actually goes the right way (read: my way), like this one with Not Bad For A Girl. The "Strawberries & Cream" hat is 1 of 3 that will be produced in a short run of 36 hats. The hats will be available in December at the Session Exhibition in the New Era London Flagship store. It's like Strawberry Cupcake all grown up and I want one, badly.
