Finally it's time 4 Buraka Som Sistema (PRT/AGO), and their Kuduro in Sweden. Kuduro mean "hard ass" in Protegees and is like Angolas answer to booty bass, so you better get down to Stockholm the 9th of December and get your booty trained.
To prepare yourself I recommend you all 2 Download Radioclits Kudoro mix. Contains remixes of DJ ZNobia, Naio Crazy & Naveia and BSS.
Xpt BSS you can dance to brutal bailefunk/miami bass by Neurotic Bass (BRA) and chill 2 the spoken word by Ghettotrance (US). The place is Kägelbanan @ Södra teatern and cost 90:- SEK.

Yesterday I got this track in an e-mail. It's produced by Lapidus who has teamed up with Stanna G, Wiley and Skepta and will be released on vinyl and mp3 in December om MCS. Get it!
One thing regarding Wiley and Skepta, when will "Rules and Regulations" drop?! Last thing I heard was September and it's waaay past it.
_061126: The Sound of London - SHYSTIE!
I juz got back from Gothenburg and DJ Assault (more from that evening cuming up real soon) and after some really hard hours in different trains and buses I was soooo---oooh fucking thrilled hearing about Metro's 3rd "sound of"-happening. This time the city is London and the biggest booking as far as I concern is SHYSTIE! She has just just got back her new t-shirts, black bottom with "Bitches Better Recognize" in stunning gold print, I want one! Here you can download the Spun a web remix with her, Big Narstie and a few others. For those who don't know how good Shystie is, get Step bac from "Diamond in the dirt" or her reply to Dizzies I luv u or her version of Pum pum riddim.
Others who will be performing @ Sound of London is one of the biggest human beat boxers in the world, Faith SFX. The first time I heard him was on MTV's "Barrio 19" and he is insane! Ears of Neckle Camp, Slix from Ruff Sqwad, Max Peezay, DJ Lickshot, Sway (but frankly why? He sucked big time when he was in Stockholm last time, so I hope that you have got ur act togheter mr DaSafo) and many more. The entrance is really low, 150 sek, the place is Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm and the date is the 16th of December.
_061124: 11 got to gets - to play again and again
01. Gwen Stefani ft. Pharell - Yummy (Download)
Gwen's new record "The Great Escape" is a quite tired follow up, but Yummy is an awesome track, xpt for the horrific sound of the dentist drill.
02. iSH - Efterfest - (MySpace)
iSh is a new band consisting of the Swedish rapper CK and the electro queen Sofie Rimheden. During the whole summer CK have been travelling along with the casio synth phenomena Slagsmålsklubben and I'm really feelin' this more electronic side of him.
03. JME ft. Wiley and Julie - What you need - (MySpace)
I have had this song for about a year but in an earlier version, a kacky radio rip someone named Hmm. Now it's called What you need added with an female vocalist called Julie (I guess this is Jme's sister Julie, tell me if I'm wrong). An other song I love of "Edition 3 Derkhead" is Jme's remix of Lily Allens LDN. She's playing @ Berns in Stockholm the 2nd of December. It cost 220:- SEK, waste of money you may think when you could have seen her in London 6 months ago for about £5. Well back to What you need, I like Jme's approach on it, as a Man.
04. Blackjack ft. Slicks, Lightening & Scorcher - Hustle Hard - (MySpace)
Blackjack of N.A.S.T.Y - krew keeps it up as THE top producer of the grimescene. Every single track he makes is pure fuckin' raving. He now also sells his beats on myspace for £500 each. This one is like the winter version of Rick Ross Hustlin', this is juz better, rawer and has Skywalker on it.
05. Jay-Z - Trouble - (Download)
I hate Show me, even the remix (remixes of boring songs tends to make them better but, nah not this with Kanye West). I fuckin' hate it. The comeback of Hova, but is it a comeback? It's a lame try, and has the "CEO of hiphop" ever been retired, really?! BUT Trouble is a good song. And when J works with B like on Upgrade you from her album "B-day" everything is forgotten.
06. Trilladelphians ft. Freak Nasty and Omega - Wu Tang Theme - (Download)
I've totally missed the dance called Wutang, it's quite big in the States and especially in Philly. Wu Tang Theme is addressed to all those on youtube who can't do the Wutang properly. Listen and learn. Trilladelphians is also available with the compilation "Snap or Die".
07. Fattaru - Stila Upp Din Skit - (MySpace)
I'm having difficulties to take hip hawp in Swedish seriously. Mostly because all the lyrics sounds ridicules, Mange Schmidt HOLLA! Fattaru haven't been on my top ten list since Hultsfred when a member called me and Donya whores for giving props to his hair, anyway, their new record "Mina Drömmars Stad" is quite good. I luv ffw this track to 02:35, then raise the volume as high as possible, and shout STILA UPP DIN SKIT KOMPIS!, without referring to anyone's hair.
09. Doctor ft. DaVinChe - Gotta Man? - (MySpace // MySpace)
This track was one of the best from the second "Run The Road" compilation released last autumn, and now the 27th it will be released as Doctors debut single, it also runs on MTV Base chart. DaVinChe stands for the production, and he has teemed up with the NFL league. I luv to see that grime is growing bigger day by day. Also look up Doctors "Before Surgery" record released in 2005, includes Come on with Trim from Roll Deep for example.
10. Tinchy Stryder - Boom - (MySpace)
Tinchys new mixtape "Lost and Found vol. 1" is much weaker than his friend and crew allie Slix "Down vol. 1" and the whole Ruff Sqwad "Guns and Roses vol. 2". This was the only track who stood out in the bunch, BOOM BOOM BOOM, 1 step 2 step BOOM!
11. NoLay - Swagger - (MySpace)
This tune is crazy like a carousel or a freakshow, well it's mad and produced by Swindle, whiteness about that "No Comparisons" will be big. NoLay has not left Unorthadox, she's juz doing her own thing for a while. When oh when will some club in Sweden book her? CUM ON!
Well, I'm off to Gothenburg to watch DJ Assault @ the Eye, Nef. U should be there too. If u can't well, read all about it here in a couple of days.
Regarding the questions about my breast enlargement, they haven't changed. I measured my tits today and they keep measure up to 92 cm as it's widest point. Happieness and joyfull bliss! And Dan, I dunno if the soap works on the ass, but my hands haven't grown bigger by using it on my tits, so I doubt it.
_061115: JME - Derk Head/Tropical
The date for JME's new release was changed to today. But if u like me don't have those proper record shops u can try to fill your long for it by downloading JME on Kiss from the 13th. 2 hrs, BRAP BRAP BRAP!
ps. if you're still not satisfied with your crave from JME listen to Tapped from Skreams new ablum "Skream!" released on Tempa. BIG!
_061114: NoLay - No Comparisons
The 20th will be the date of the first release by Gold Seal Recordings and the 3Face single Different World. On the remix of the song NoLay appear among Wretch 32, NJ, Scorcher and Tinchy Stryder. The single is BIG so make sure you get a copy. NoLay who is also on the Female Allstar thing (I never get tired of Grab that mic big up Keyzdot!) will also release her forthcoming mixtape "No Comparisons" the 30th of January. Collaborations with Diplo and big tunes like Swagger and Snide mc's innit. The phrase "she's good, 4 a female" is played, and it's played out. NoLay kills!
Download a freestyle with NoLay and Snakeyman from DJ Cameo's latest show on BBC 1xtra.
Cheesy and fun - sampling
Every shitty blog seem to talk about the fact that Ruff Sqwad sampled Cutting Crew on Died in our arms. When are the blog phenomena gonna die out, really? I'm so sick and tiered of everyone who thinks their blogging is worth the fuckin' Pulitzerprize. Anyway, Died in your arms is not the most interesting piece on "Guns and roses vol. 2" in my humble opinion, it's the War track. The sampling with all the OHH's and AHH's sounds like a single released in the 70's here in Sweden produced by the Swedish most loveable racist and biggest cream bun eater in the game Bert Karlsson. Hilarious. Tinchy and Wiley sampled Uptown girl on Tinchy's "I'm back you know" mixtape, cheesy to tha max, but the best cheesy sample is done by Scorcher. It's called Girls just wanna have fun, what else?
_061110: Konkrete (Purple Ribbon Allstars) & Big Boi - What's That Smell
Purple is TEH colour of this fall/winter, I give you 3 reasons: Purple Ribbon Allstars, NUMP's I gott grapes and Killa Cam's classic album "Purple haze".
Jacki-O - Queen of the South
The so called "Queen of the South" Trina will dropp her new mixtape tomorrow the 11th. Not that hype since her latest record "Glamorest Life " was not that good after all. I long for the REAL Queen of the South record, "Jack the ripper" by Jacki-O.
The beef between Tina, Jacki-O and Khia who really is the real queen was easily won by Jacki. It came across on the Ozone awards this year. Jacki-O and her crew all wore "Fuck Khia" t-shirts and she made a song called Pop off (download here). She basically slaughters Khia so it took a while for her to respond. And the respond was a lame one, Khia touched up her diss she had made for Trina, with some new lyric and dropped Wacki-O (download here). I recommend you to watch all the beef clips on youtube.
Then it went quiet for a moment until Jacki-O filed for bankruptcy, had no record contract, got arrested for shop lifiting, released her own jewellery and a phat mixtape called "Free Agent". There is no question who is THE Queen of the south, there is only one, and her name is Jacki-O. "Jack the ripper" will be out in 2007.
I don't know how I feel about this really. Empty I guess. Well, Carl Dobson aka. Crazy Titch, one of the biggest MC's in the grime scene had his sentence the 2nd. 30 years in prison. For the murder of 21-year-old producer Richard Holmes last November. It all happend when he was supposed to be in Gothenburg, Sweden @ Club Get Up! performing and I should have been interviewing him. The only thing that come to mind is stop gun crime. According to the BBC, Dobson and Green (Durrty Goodz) approached Holmes with a Mach-10 machine gun and shot him in the back and leg as he ran away. A fan and witness of the shooting identified Dobson from having seen him on TV. Goodz, meanwhile, was cleared of murder and manslaughter charges. Well, to clash someone in a lyric should not end in death. It's just as simple as that. Let us only see gunfingerz, no actual killing.
The following weekend will be off teh hook if you're in Scandinavia. On friday the 10th there's a Vice party in Stockholm to celebrate Vice 2 year anniversary. Attending to that party will be a bunch of people, among them Swedens finest Radioclit. But as you all know, to get tickets to Vice venues are a bit tricky so if you don't get hold of one travel to Uppsala instead.
In Uppsala it's Club Modem @ Orange bar who will give you the hottest untz untz and who also invites Krazy Fiesta. Simply DO NOT miss Jspr, Jo-Han and Erik HP spinning their wax! Talking about Krazy Fiesta, take a look at Jo-Hans MySpace and his new africa bambaata-technotronic-justicesimian-mash.
The 11th you pull your socks up and travel to Copenhagen. It will be the biggest rave in the Scandinavian history with:
- DJ Plastician (UK) + JME (UK) and Tinchy Stryder (UK).
- True Tiger Crew live on stage feat. DJ Stanza (UK), MC Purple (UK), Bruza (UK), Misty Dubs (UK), Ny (UK), Duncan Powell (UK) and Shyam (UK).
- DJ Messiah (UK) back2back DJ Garna (UK) feat. MC Soulja (UK).
- OHOI! Sound System (DJ JSL, Tim Driver, DJ 2000F, and Kristobal Cologne) (DK).
The place is Stengade 30. The entrance is really really low, only 80 dk. Be THERE, I mean BRUZA! You can't fuckin' miss Bruz! Or JME for that matter, or Tinchy. Both of them with new records on the shelfs.
I don't know if Tempz of Slew Dem is serious wearing his cap like this or if he's bare jokes. Either way it dosn't matter, this is a thing who has buggin me for a long time now. This way of wearing a cap. Like someone just laid that cap on his head. Everywhere I turn my pretty little head there's always a guy who tries to pull this off as fashion. Often this little guy is quite annoying and talks loud trying to impress everyone around. I can juz simply say: This is not the way to wear a cap. It's not. It's a big DON'T.
If you spend money on a hot new era please were it the proper way. If you don't know wich way that's proper google some images of the dance choreograph Shane Sparks to guide you. Shane knows his caps. Shane is the pure fuckin' cap ideal. And he can dance. If this dosn't work, try an bigger size for fucks sake so your hair can fit into the cap. Then when you're chillin' and willin' with your cap the proper way, turn on Wonder ft. Plan b - Cap back and lean back.
Roll Deep gets involved with the whole stop gun crime thing. The video is directed by Jake Nava who also did Beyoncés Crazy in love an Kelis Milkshake. Well, the track is BIG, download it 4 free from the link above.
Kanye West vs. Justice - 0-1
Finaly I would like to send a big Big up to Kayne West for he dares to show his scared ego on MTV EMA when Justice won the prize for best video. Well Kanye, you had Pam, we know, but it simply wasn't enough. If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility! You weren't the best dressed either. It was Pharell who has copycated Skeptas thang for fury hats. Maby it's time to step yo game up K!
The first time I heard Suave Smooth from Palm Beach, Florida was on DJ Smallz "Southern Smoke vol. 29". I thought "OH! Who the fuck is this new crunk chick! Awesome!"
Then I found Suave on Myspace and got really confused. Suave has a snake in the pants. On his current profile pic he really looks like a lady too, like Khia's long lost twin. It was a little bit of disappointing to come to the conclusion that he wasn't a she, but in the long run it don't hurt that much.
Suave Smoots mixtape "You Know My Name, The Red Cup Edition" hosted by DJ Quest is to good to be true. To get downloads and instructions on how to get the official "red cup get it moist" cocktail recipe visit his myspace.
Shinjuku Zulu is Japan meets Africa. The sheer sensory overload of Shinjuku, the major downtown in Tokyo and the Zulu tribe, everything opposite to neon and fast city pace. Pictures of the band may look like a bad class photo from a cross the borders school were EVERYONE is accepted. The producer and writer K.I.A is the band, he just works with people and their webpage http://www.nu4ya.com looks like it has been done back in 1995 in Microsoft Word, honestly it looks like CRAP. Kind of annoying. BUT Shinjuku Zulu reminds of the outstanding Swedish band "Three Japanese and one Chinese friendee" with their corny rhymes like "Shanghai - Masai". The sound of Shinjuku Zulu is hard do describe, it's like strange electronica. A mashup of break beat meets pop meets hip hawp meets house. Strange but good listening.
