Trim Taliban
Trim was one of my fave members of the Roll Deep Entourage, now Travan, Trimvan, Tali, Trim, Trim Thug, Trimothy, Trimson, Trimmal, Trimski or whatever u would like to call him run things on his own. Trim left Roll Deep because he didn’t get along with ‘em the way he would. So he rolled back to his old friends like them in Bomb Squad.
Trim tells RWD that he don’t wanna refer his music to grime:

Well you better tell them people not to buy into me then if they are looking for that word. It started from garage now man I don’t know why it’s grime man. I think it’s cos there are a lot of thuggish looks and all that but I don’t appreciate it man. It degrades us and it don’t make us sound better than what we are. How are you gonna move up if you’re name is grime like? You’ll always stay below it. Cos it’s called grime.
Perhaps he wants his music to be as versatile as his name, I dunno, but whether u buy his opinion, or whatever u call his music, it’s some pretty good shit. Make sure u cop his debut mixtape, "Soulfood".

DIZZEE @ Hultsfred 2007
Today’s new bookings at my dear dear festival back home in Hultsfred are more than I expected. Of course I’m talking about DIZZEE RASCAL, oh thanks heaven and big up booker Janne Kleman. I was already hype hype for this years edition even if the bookings were, like not that hype, except for the Clipse and a bunch of others. Dizzee got company of another good booking today as well, Bonde Do Role.
Now, the final thing that stands on my list is that I wanna throw a big garden party for all of my friends by my parents house, gonna need A LOT of sweet talk thou I think. Wish me luck, and perhaps u will be one of the lucky ones attending to it.
Krazy Fiesta is the biggest thing Sweden has to offer atm, no doubt about it. This time, JSPR did a remix of Lil Mama’s super hit Lip Gloss, smear it on ya lips (the upper ones that is), sync a dance and FIESTA!
Wiley Wiley Wiley. U thought he was out, down for the count. But Richard did an Jay-Z, retired and then before u had the time to blink did an comeback. Almost like Jesus. The funny thing is, Wiley almost sees himself as Jesus according to a pic I found when I browsed his MySpace. 
After the Lupe Fiasco and Sway collab and the Juelz Santana and Skepta one, it was about time that US and UK came together again, and this time added with yet another Adenuga brother. And as always, when JME is on things, he put up a vid in his blog from the event. This time a fake MTV cribs show and Skepta twisting his words about blowing and about that men don’t blow added with no homo. 
I’m a shallow person, I’m well aware of that. Struggling not to always judging things for their appearance, like this cover of the "Kano Mixtape" who will be out next week, trying to do the whole Star Wars thing, but isn’t that quite played out ? Like the big yellow C-60 thou, makes me cope with the foogly Star Wars-theme. 
Those Were The Days was one of my fave tracks of “Public Warning”. Absolutely luv them generation novels, and this is a bit like that, just that it’s a song instead, 1990’s represent!
NIYI is one of them guys u see in the Super-Super magazine, with his big clown bow, KFC-bucket necklace and stuff like that. I’m really skeptical about makin’ fashion out of an empty carbon of juice, and KFC-buckets, seems heavy, smelly and dysfunctional. 
Smart move of Dirtee Stank to get this out now, for promotion only. But like I said in the last Dizzee-post, like this, a lot, but Lemon is much much much better, grime wise and it's a more interesting track over all. 
I'm not going out tonight, Hultsfred is offering a boring party with just old people and shitty music perfomed by our local band "3 Wise Men", so I gonna stay inside at home with my family and modify my new laptop. it's so nyce, I just LUV it. 
Spended the whole night taking care of my younger brother who had dranked to much, he was unconscious and shit. Anyway, now everything's fine. Had a luvly dinner with my family and tomorrow we're going to collect my NEW laptop. Seriously, I feel like when u were young the night before Christmans Eve. 
"Against All Oddz" is nowadays a cheap bargain at Sweden's biggest online records stores, and it was kind of a flop. Both sales wise and music wise. To be frank, it has not coming out anything good from Fire Camps Maxwell Ansah's mouth since the What We Do collaboration with Kray Twins, Twista and Gabba Ranks. 
Ok, I know, it's sun, it spring, it's warm and this very moment one of my neighbours playing Celine Dion's - My Heart Will Go On, on constant repeat, over and over again. For my whole block. Yesterday it was Mariah Carey, never liked her really, she just wails, what more can she do?! If u are my neigbour and read this, go and buy urself a music taste will ya? Everyone knows that the hottest female vocalists come from UK these days. Charlean Dance, Ny and Joci to name a few.
