My brain’s all mash, can’t think clearly, the heat is lovely but it makes me s l o w, esp. since the shop becomes a hot sauna after 8.00 am. Days like this should be spend on the beach with water and fruits en masse not working indoors.

However, is it just me post the heat or is Wiley heavily outshined by Trigga and Gigs in this? I hardly hear him at all but I do hear the lovely bells in the background.

And while we’re on the grime, it’s quite inevitable and needs to be written: R.I.P. Slew Dem’s Esco, the scene misses one star for sure. My thoughts goes out to his friends and family, stay strong.

Uhh, it feels like after this night’s throw down it’s a fucking miracle that I’m alive. Me and my best friend got in this HUGE drama with some nasty hillbillies on our way home from one of the best nights of fun and dance in a while. Some nasty RACIST hillbillies.

We were eating, some man in his mid 40’s, fugly as hell, with a lisp and with body fat enough to feed a small family for a year started to make his racist remarks at our table. "Smart" remarks like that black people should get the hell out of Sweden, he moved on to Muslims as well, landed with the fact that all foreign people just cost Sweden money and that the country was a much better place without them and so on and on and on. Never had so many racist encounters aside from when the nazikids in Uppsala used to follow me get up in my ear when I walked down town and whisper 'whore' and 'feminist pussy' all creepy and then vanish and tonight I couldn’t keep my mouth shut and hell broke loose.

The argument started to involve the whole restaurant and the restaurant split into two camps of like 50 people just screaming and acting out.

Now nothing major happened cause we had 3 big security guards protecting us from the angry racist mob but it was just all pretty fucked up, it’s not okay for a grown man to behave like that for no reason at all. No wonder these ancient racial prejudices keep living on when all them stupid fucks keeps inbreeding. No fresh blood, no input, just stuck in his own made up fantasies and utopia of Sweden and Swedish values. Note just the fact that the place we were eating was not a Swedish restaurant... Not the sharpest knife in the box, that’s for damn sure.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of BEP's Boom Boom Pow when it reached the streets of Internet but I love the second official remix with Cudder and while we’re doing the weekly Cudder update, Sky Might Fall is finally ready to be released. Yeah, my first home that is; Hultsfred and the Hultsfred-festival. I’ve been very skeptic towards the festival for some years now. When I was a kid I worked my ass off for Rockparty, both at their regular parties at Metropol and during the festival. The festival used to be Hultsfred’s pride and joy, what put our little community on the map, what actually set the festival trend in motion in the whole of Sweden.

However, the past years the festival has been ridiculous overpriced and the bookings not the freshest out the kitchen. Just a boring routine and I broke my nyce little row with attending all festivals since 1986 last year cause of it. But now Rockparty finally seems to have taken the gigantic loss of money from past years to heart, rethinked things, moved the dates and started listen to the audience instead of booking their old fave rockgroups. This booking of Cudder is HUGE (even if he will perform on a small intimate stage) as it’s his first booking in Sweden ever, Rockparty have started to step their game up, that’s for sure. Will he show up? Hiphop-bookings and Hultsfred has the habit to clash, badly, endless problems with customs, narcs etc. Well, if Pete Doherty managed to show up, everyone can.

The Hultsfred-festival takes place 8-11 of July, just in time for his upcoming album release and so far Cudder is the only booking worth checking out. Speaking of which, there's a new mixtape out to promote the album called "Dat Kid From Cleveland", a collaborate project put togheter by DatNewCudi.com and DJ E-V and it contains all good tracks as well as this exclusive new track called Daps and Pounds, produced by Jungle Club.

Woke up early this morning, realized I couldn’t move, I have thrown my back out, my left arm is partially paralyzed, kinda scary. So no work for me today. But if I could move I would gladly dance my ass off as well to this new blazing track from the amazing Roxzi and Symphony aka. Get Em Mamis called Rock With Me produced by Booman (might remember his remix of Rye Rye and M.I.A.’s Bang some days ago?) that was a nyce surprise when I checked them tweets today.

My first instinct when someone wipes the big layer of dust off their old TOTO-collection is basically: run the fast as I can. This remix by Dallas producer LehtMoJoe of Major Lazer’s dust free Hold the Line is no exception other than the fact that everything but the TOTO-samples makes me wanna dance. Yeah, I’m torn with this one, don’t what to think of it really, perhaps u like it?

What I do like is that Lady GaGa also pickes up the feather duster, wiping the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge clean with her cover of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida. It gave me chills down the spine and goose bumps at the same time on the bus home from work earlier today, so damn good. Can’t for my life understand how people can dislike this amazing woman, her voice rules the world.

Finally, the 100% working Bonkers-video, the brand single from Dizzee Rascal's forthcoming album with the lovely title "Tongue In Cheek":

Remember Major Lazer’s oh so lovely Me Zumbi? Apparently the track is not gonna be on the long awaited album from Diplo and Switch called "Guns Don’t Kill People... Lazers Do" which drops the 16th of June. It was just a dub from Mr. Milokanis. But don't worry, Mad Decent have unleashed the first leak called Hold The Line featuring Santigold and Mr. Lexx and it’s FIIIIIRE!

More heat to the table, Ms. Thing has a hot spot on Major Lazer's MySpace-page, I would love to see her on the album as well, miss the days of Hot and Jump Up and Rail. Well, we'll have to wait and see.

Nowadays it’s almost easier to count the rappers that haven't been using M.I.A. to get some fame and hype than those who have. The latest addition to the never-ending line of M.I.A.-claimers is Kovas who dusts off the two year old Hit That and decides to drop a verse on it. To be frank, Kovas should have kept his greedy little hands off and his mouth shut. The original kills, it doesn’t need a tiered verse like that.

Remember when Hit That leaked in May of 2007 and the hype of "Kala" got even bigger? Then when the album finally came, Hit That was never on, some parts of the track became What I Got which was featured as a bonus track for the Japanese release.

While we’re on hitting that and tapping beds to the wall and so on who not dig deeper into the old pot of M.I.A.-gold and actually get some Nookie? This remix of Jamsey P’s old cheesy song came about when M.I.A. still was on that Galang galang-thing. Old, but still amazing and since it’s such a lovely weekend, let’s toss in some new gold as well, how about DJ Booman’s banging remix of Rye Rye's and M.I.A.’s Bang?

This brand new track from KanYe where he actually raps is taken from the "Tapemasters Inc. - This Is Hip Hop 4"–mixtape, hence the length and the annoying drops... Don’t know what I think about it really, I’m not that hot on KanYe when he raps, I actually think I prefer the autotune and singing instead.

And yeah, I’ve said that the Air Yeezy’s are ugly, I might have to change that, the gay fish-version in Laliberte Yellow/Eckstein Orange-Fusion Pink is so damn flipped that they’re absolutely wearable. _Love_ the rainbow-faded and pink sole.

The wait is over! The official video for Dizzee Rascal's and Armand Van Helden's collaboration is now live and it's actually quite... bonkers. Def a hit of summer of 2009. I love the beat, it’s huge, but the track over all; a bit too slow for my taste, it’s not as big as Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes for example. feels like something u dance to 02:45 pm when feet are h e a v y from dancing in high heels a whole night, but well, I might change opinion in some weeks, who knows. My take on the shoe game is, as long as u don’t sport Vans or Chuck Taylors ur okay in my book. Can’t cope with Timberland’s either. Nike AM 90/AM1 (in a nyce color way that is, I’m not speaking beige/brown, yuck, at work we call that color palette: FAMILY LAWYER, haha) or crispy whites = gold stars. Once I linked with a guy who cleaned his kicks with a toothbrush every day and bleached his laces with chlorine once a week. That’s a bit too extreme, even for a neat freak like myself, also, a new set of laces are pretty cheap.

Speaking of Cudder btw, here's the (unofficial) remix of Sky Might Fall with Rick Ross. Lately I’ve been kinda turned off by Ricky's music as it has been so damn boring, this however is okay, if his effort was a shoe, I would rate it as... a pair of white, semi dirty AF1s.

To be honest, I haven’t watched South Park in ages but my brother made me watch this week’s episode (s13e05) just now and it was real treat! Trey Parker and Matt Stone seem also have noticed the change of tact from KanYe West, that he’s actually working on his ego and things... even if it’s a slow process.

The criticism of and making mr. West into the laughing stock of April 2009 is done with humor and love even if someone’s ego got a heavy blow, I think KanYe took it fine. Like a grown man, he could have easily lashed out KanYe-style, KiD CuDi for instance would have been waving the white "I’m done with music"-flag again, that’s for damn sure:

I got MAD love for this track, just pure love love love. But several issues regarding the video, first the one of utter importance, where’s the GIRLS?! Sometimes I really do wonder who does the idea pitching for videos like this. Picturing the discussion going something like: Yeah, we have to do a video. Underground club scene, greeeen laser? Some models getting their sexy light on, u know rough environment vs. sexy dance, dichotomyyyy! [...] SHALL WE THROW IN SOME STRANGE HALLOWEEN MAKEUP? (all in unison) YEAH!!! [...] And how about Shorty’s cheap PIMPCUP?! Koool! Ready set action!:

Yeah. the end result just looks like a school project from some preteen boy with bad skin, a poor attempt to mock around with hiphop-videos. Just the makeup alone, why oh why? U know the picture that’s floating around, the one when someone has dolled up JME in Joker-makeup and the tagline "Why So Serious?", _that’s_ HELLA funny and would have been a funny look for the video, not looking like Hank von Helvete on a bad day (would have been almost as funny as this tee, but just almost).

So to sum up, I’m not feeling the video, so sorry guys. Most I think it is because that it’s doesn’t correlate with the lyrics at all and it’s a bit out of context. Some cross-dressing would have suited more than well, why stop at the makeup? Go hard or don’t go at all and it would have been right in the kisser for Goodz seeing Wiley joking around in heels and lipstick after the whole Panties, Bras, Coke and Cameras.

The single would be available to buy this on the 18th of May. BUY IT, even if the video suck, the track's BIG!

Ps. Still can’t stand Frisco even if this is the best he has sounded ever, uhhhh just still too nasal for my taste, him and Fran Drescher = a match made in heaven... Or not, someone think of the children they would breed, oh dear oh dear, we’re speaking permanent broken DNA-ladders. Sorry, but seriously, can’t cope with his voice.

Ps 2. WE NEED SOME MORE GIRLS IN HERE!!!

Footsie and D Double E aka. Newham General’s debut album "Generally Speaking" is out today on Dirtee Stank, the label’s first album release. Feels really strange to write that it’s out after years of waiting (we're speaking since summer of 2005) but now the day has come and overall, it was actually worth it. U should definitely buy it (and u can do it over HERE) since, along with Durrty Goodz’ "Ultrasound", (I dare to say) "Generally Speaking" is the best grime release of 2009.

However, the long wait is also the album's downfall to some extent. Songs u expected, like for instance the Anthem and Puffing on da Lemon are not on the album and 11 tracks plus 2 hidden ones (called Haters and Hatred) feels a bit too few, 16 tracks would have been more proper esp. since they have more than enough material that could fill up an 16-track long album easily. I was also afraid that the album would feel like one of their radio sets from Rinse FM and sometimes it does, but I guess it’s just cause I’ve listened to them sets sooo many times over and over waiting for this.

Now it feels like I’m only complaining, that’s not my intent at all as there is actually not a single bad track on "Generally Speaking". The proper CDQ of Bell Them Slags is pretty AMAZING, Violence ft. Dizzee and G-Man (other guests featured on the album is Chrome and Slash-E) is really good, Supadupe is a visit back to good radio sets and I could go on and on. To be honest, there’re just as I said, too few. I wouldn't mind a few extra tracks sounding like Pepper.

Wale’s Twitter-game is nothing to play with, he plays it the Jack Bauer way, almost tweeting every minute, 24/7. Even if he has slacked off a bit this weekend.

I get mad stressed over all his tweets and they also make my other subscriptions fall behind since his tweets takes up all the effing space. But worst of all, I almost missed this cause of all unnecessary shit. My take on microbloging is: if u have something important to get off ur chest, please share (like this or the fact that he and K’naan have an amazing song produced by Mark Ronson coming), if not, shut the piehole or get in the blog game, for real. Don’t force me to unfollow.

Wonder when the safest card in the music industry are gonna flip or at least decrease? Yeah I’m speaking about the one thing that always turns out good, sampling old M.I.A.-tunes. Not in the nearest future is my wild guess and here’s the latest one, from Tinie Tempah and his "Sexy Beast Vol. 1" (dl whole mixtape here via Tinie's blog).

The sample in this track called I’m Hot is from Bucky Done Gun and well, it works doesn’t it? Btw, speaking of work, Tinie isn’t so tiny anymore, from what u can see on his MySpace-pics he has done some heavy lifting, suits him well.

Here’s the reason and the explanation to why Hey Girl didn’t make it to Keri Hilson’s debut album, the track is now renamed to Patron Tequila (still produced by Polow Da Don) and will instead be the lead single and the title track to the debut album from Europe’s answer to the Pussycat Girls.

Yes, Robin Antin has created yet another girl group, this one is called the Paradiso Girls and actually existed before Girlicious (even if I haven’t heard of them until now) and they actually recorded the track before Miss Keri but Keri got T-Pain jumpin' on her version. The whole story sounds a bit messy I know but I can't get enough of this track and somehow, even if The Paradiso Girls is a pretty lame name for a group, it sounds like a brand for sunscreen or something, I like this new/old/whatever version more.

Anyhow, the group consist of 5 girls, the main focus is all about mixing enjoyment with different nationalities (with represents from the UK, France, Barbados, Philippines and the United States) and unlike the Dolls there is no lead singer they all have something different to bring to the group but I must say, the most interesting among them is US represented Chelsea Korka.

U know the super-cute girl with the bangs that were the second runner-up at the "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll" TV-show? Haha, I loved that show and was so pissed when Asia won, then she had the nerve to never become a doll anyway. But well, things turned out great for Chelsea anyway (more than u can say about Asia) and Patron Tequila is just the beginning. The Paradiso Girls have recorded over 50 songs and worked with top producers such as Fernando Garibay, will.i.am, Sean Garrett, Cee-Lo Green, Tricky, The-Dream, and Lucas Secon for their upcoming debut album. Sounds good doesn’t it? I'm definitely into it. Expect the Patron Tequila-video to drop soon.

I HATE April Fool’s Day. I hate the silly made up stories of the newspapers about life on mars and things like that. This however is not some tiered April Fools joke, even if it may sound that way at the first listen, consider it as just another file in the folder of strange and KiD CuDi-related things. Iranian/American progressive house DJ Sharam worked on this track as collaboration with CuDi and it can be found on his recently released album "Get Wild" and as I said, the first listen to this is a bumpy ride.

First I started to cry. Why? The first part reminds so much of Laura’s Theme from Twin Peaks, probably the best opening theme _ever_, then I started to hate. Just can’t cope with the country vibe, getting enough of that at work, my bosses music selection is some deep shit, we’re speaking banjos enough to stress out even the calmest person, country on the topic of heartache overload and the worst of it all: funk. But when the chorus sets in with the Strange–sample from Patsy Cline I started to love again and so it just goes on.
