When this new Wiley-tune came through the air more than a month ago everyone (myself included) was like; Say what what, Wiley’s flirting with electronica? Seriously?! Now we all know it’s serious, the single in question has been signed to Atlantic Records and may be ‘the thing’ to broaden Wiley’s audience (Wiley’s pulling a Dizzee so to speak) and get him out of the mixtape-swamp he’s been hibernating in lately. Cuz let’s just face it, "Umbrella" was like a big yawn but for exceptions of old bangers like Red Light with Scorcher and Scratcha, but the rest, major Z_Z. That’s the thing about mixtapes, make too many and I sure grow tired of someone’s voice. It happened with the "TunnelVision"-series and also when JME blasted out his series in 2006. Now, JME has been busy with finishing off his debut album called "Famous?" which will drop sometime soon. Can’t wait for it actually, will be bigger than some weared and teared T-Shirt bars, that’s for sure. Wiley will drop "Grime Wave" sometime soon and his new album "The Race Against Time" is due to September.

I don’t know why I like Rick Ross as much as I do, maybe its his beard. It sort of reminds me of Pippi Longstocking’s dad, the resemblance is quite obvious. Pippi Longstocking’s dad stands for major comfort and security for me, u know, I grew up in the hoods of the author Astrid Lindgren, her books were one of the main foundations in my childhood. This new single is far from the best, but in combination with the video and seeing that beard it’s calming and makes it better.

First up, received this mega mixtape from Yeah Fool in my flooded mailbox the other day. Usually I just listen to mixes when I’m out walking but this worked surprisingly well even if I was an indoor pussy this weekend. I’m programming a large portfolio atm, containing all of my work basically, and this made all that work so easy and time just flew away. "The Fist Fuck Mixtape" is said to kill the winter and it's filled with nyce crunk, bassline, booty bass und so weiter. Euro Crunk Ain’t Dead! And today, it's offical, spring has really come to the south of Sweden.

The mixtape actually contains this song but it’s so good that u need it as a standalone, and really, how can u say no when it has the same name as the most overused phrase in the grime scene of today? No, u can’t. Cause, it’s alot it’s alot.

I can’t for my life understand why some get that provoked by Kid Sister? If u compare her to other female club-rappers, she actually got some skillz to her rapping game. Well, I LOVE Kid Sister, nuff said. Listened to Beeper sooo much last spring and the Count and Sinden’s debut album will drop sometime later this year. The Beeper single however will be available from the 24th of March on Domino Records with a lot of remixes from Fake Blood, A-Trak and so on.

Philly club star Dwizz (u know, the kid who made Salt, Pepper, Ketchup and Hot Sauce) had his release party for his new mixtape "Party Music vol. 3" 2 days ago. Dwizz and the party music from Bang ‘Em In Ya Ear is like the essence of spring and summer for me, u simply can’t stand still. My energy levels are awfully low right now cause of the medication, feels like when I was 16 and started taking birth control pills. My body is totally fucked up; all I do is sleep basically. The new mixtape keeps up the food related stuff with the wonderful track called McNuggets.

Well, these two, actually from his previous mixtape, are like pure energy boosts, absolutely loving ‘em!. I’m gonna make some strong coffee and hopefully find the strength to get some work related stuff off my chest.

The new trend seems to be to rap over sordid eurodisco. Last time it was Philly’s Wiz Kalifah who did his interpretation of Alice DeeJay’s Better off Alone in Say Yeah (but he wasn’t first with that actually, Wiley did the same thing and much funnier in Joke Thing from one of his "TunnelVision" volumes early last year). However, this sounds like a bare joke but its true and it’s kind of out of this world. A rework of DJ S3RL’s Pretty Rave Girl (which is a rework of Swedish Basshunter’s DotA) added with the rap from the last female standing in Crime Mob, Princess that is.

Yeah, sounds like work of a complete madman, but it’s actually GOOD! Princess new mixtape "Class Is In Session" is finally out and it’s way better than Diamond’s to be frank. She almost of takes Diamond’s ass to school.

Sorry for the drought peeps, but now everything’s gonna get back to normal with several updates a day. The reason for my absence is that I’ve finally got a medication for my anxiety attacks which turned me into a complete zombie. I’ve always opposed to get medication for this cuz I’ve always think I can kick things on my own, but now I had no choice, and I wanna get well and get rid of this shit once and for all.

Otherwise everything’s quite peachy, it’s the season of the semla, spring is almost here and new bangers gets released almost every day now. Like this, the lead single from the forthcoming album of E-40 called "The Ball Street Journal". It's bouncy, hyphed up and smells like late night summer parties, put it in reverse and let me see ur foot work.

A friend of mine asked me some time ago (when DJ Assault visited) how I could enjoy and dance to music that stated that I was a "light skinned bitch" and things like that and be totally okay with it since I’m a feminist? She had some troubles with the contradiction herself, how can u remain emancipated and be degraded at the same time? The thing is, every single thing in life just doesn’t need to be that bloody serious and analyzed every single second. Even if DJ assault may rap that I’m a light skinned bitch, he’s quite kind and nyce in person, so well. I’ll guess the answer is that so long it feels right, it’s alright. It’s only u that set the boundaries of what goes and what’s not in _your_ life, it’s an hell of an difference to be an object and to act like an object if u know what I mean. The thing lies in who defines what. Even if I like sexist music, I don’t accept sexism in real life, music is art, and art can be... well pretty much everything.

Yeah, once in my youth I tried to be political correct and everything, but I was a major failure according to the rebel regulations. I liked make up, sleaze, girly stuff, outfit coordination, getting my nails done, and so on. I was labeled as a "Madonna Feminist" by other more "righteous" (in their eyes) feminists, then the whole riot-grrrl scene swept over Sweden and suddenly everyone embraced the pink. It was around here I started to get really bored with the whole political thing. I gave up and became just me.

Despite the annoying typo on "Add Freind" on Lazee’s MySpace, it’s one of the best looking Swedish artist profiles I’ve seen on there. And the only thing that bugs me with his new video is the diamond skull. I’m allergic to skulls nowadays, my former flatmate for the past 3 years was the skull print personified. Shower curtains, glasses, shoes, mittens, rugs, yeah u name it, it was invading our apartment and it was so darn foogly. Just get flashbacks to 17 year old punkrockers or a 'kool' cell phone background from like Jamba. But I really like Lazee, Rock Away is quite catchy, it’s the first seed of the collaboration with ISHI and Sebastian Ingrosso.

The single is out now on 2 Stripes Music, and the rumor has it that Lazee has signed a deal with Sony. Well, the outlook for Swedish hiphop looks good indeed.
