Yep, it’s in the middle of the night and I can’t sleep, just watching this fresh new video on constant re:peat. My first day at my new job went to hell, or to be honest, I did. My panic angst attacks is back, and this time I’m not going to neglect them, cuz I’ve been there, done that, and that’s not a good outlook for the future. I’m not gonna be completely deadout again. Well, this tune was one of the biggest to come out of 2007 and the first dubstep track to be represented on the BBC Radio 1 daytime playlist. A straight Benga banga, perfect for nights like this.

Bengas album "Diary of an Afro Warrior" will drop the 10th of March on Tempa and this single will be available in all different formats the 25th of February.

Oh, I’m having my first day at work tomorrow (or today actually, but I gotta try to catch some sleep first) since 2005 (if u exclude the writing and studying I’ve been busy with the past years), but I’m so fuckin’ nervous I don’t know what to do with myself. But I’ve finally got my health back and have spend the day out in sun walking round and trying to get to know my new hoods. Anyway, this bassline mix by DJ Nay-Nay has been my fellow companion the whole day. It has it ALL! While I’m on this bassline thingee, one of my fave DJ’s, DJ Rekless has finally dropped his EP on Northern Line Records, cop it, and if u need a reason why, well, this is more or less why I started to like bassline in the first way; Shout.

Yeah promise u, this will be the very last time I’ll hype this track, but this remix done by DJ Sega from Philly just made me realize once again why Paper Planes was one of the best tracks of 2007. It’s fantastic! WOHO! This is exactly what I needed right now, a new bouncy club banger with a feature from the fave man from Miami; Mr 305 Pitbull. I’m still ill, have had a fever for like more than a week now, the weather outside is just dreadful, so sick of it, but I’m getting better, that’s what counts. This is from one of the newcomers on the Miami scene, a 21 year old rapper called Vein, he’s still unsigned, but with this goodie produced by himself and Keith Bizz up his sleeve, I don’t he will be for much longer. The hook is so sticky, it will get ur azz down like Nasdaq!

It’s now 5 years since Tinchy Stryder won the prize for the best newcomer at the Sidewinder Awards and much has happened since then. For instance Tinchy has some big things up his sleeve, like this collaboration with the Western Australia-based "I fell in love with the DJ"- chickadee Che’Nelle on the remix of her brand new single called Hurry Up.

It’s catchy and bubbly in that girly Gwen Stefani-kind of way, it has even become the theme cheer of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders. Tinchy’s new EP called "Cloud 9" will drop soon and this single will be out the 3rd of March. Make sure u cop 'em both.

I’ve got a confession to make, I’m a shoe watcher. The shoes are the very first thing I check out on new acquaintances and it’s a part of my "ass and titties"-thing. Just that I’ve check their shoes, cheekbones and head instead. A nyce pair of shoes, well marked cheekbones and a fly cap sort of are my Achilles' heel when it comes to men. However, a confession I don’t have to make, cuz y’all know the deal by know, I’m quite easy, if someone makes a snappy track and throw in the topic of shoes, u know I’m gonna fall for it. This by 3Deep is no exception, the remix with Webbie, Plies and Mannie Fresh just makes it even easier to love.

It’s finally done and out, the official remix video of Black Boys that is, not everyone is in this, but the best represents like Goodz and Skepta are. What’s up with Skeppy’s eyebrows btw? Feels really groomed and shaped! Well, I like ‘em, has the same feel like the ones on the OG leader Denho Acar here in Sweden.

Heard there’s about 200 (!!!) different remixes of this song floating around right now. Woop woop, oh boy do I have a BOMB to get this Monday morning off to a flying good start or what?! It’s been awfully QUIET about this collaboration, stop sleeping people! Well basically Calvin Harris and Dizzee hooked up last summer and been doing this thing online, sending each other stuff. This is the first in a row of tracks, I loved Harris when he dropped the mad beat on Acceptable in the 80’s, didn’t feel his recent releases that much but I really really like this. Feels like a small extension of Flex but yet very fresh and different. It’s taken from the world premiere Dizzee had going on when he hosted the Zane Lowe show with Annie Mac I spoke of some week ago.

Uh, I most complain, I’m ill. Just been laying around in my new couch all feverish the whole day and watched old episodes of Friends and Twin Peaks, munching the white chocolate coated Oreo’s and listened to the storm whining outside. Yeah, it sure sounds all nyce but I’m BORED to death. Then I stumbled upon this fresh out the oven video for What’s It Gonna Be and I’m starting to feel a little bit better already. Been playing this track and Jamie Duggan’s January Bassline Mix like crazy the past week when getting my new flat together, and if u look close u'll find that the video features a small cameo appearance of Duggan himself.

NoLay is one of my fave spitters in the grimescene and her highly anticipated retail mixtape "No Comparisons" will finally be out next month. In wait for that to drop, she’s now giving this pre-mixtape away for free in collaboration with the SK Vibemakers. "The New Chapter" contains old material, freestyles and snippets of the retail. One of my fave tracks from this girl is Swagger with the absolute mad production by Swindle (make sure u cop his "140 Mixtape" as well, it has been out for quite a while). Oh, February will be such a good month!

I simply love January, it sure is one of the best months by far. Why? Well, everything has that fresh feel about it, the levels are raised and the build and start of something new has begun. Yeah, the levels really are raised, when I got this dubplate from Fiend in my mailbox the other day I went to the roof and was completely swept of my feet. It’s totally different from the original track, not glitzy at all; it’s rough, messy, still sexy and just wonderful. And if u like Booty Luv check one of the newest releases on Hed Kandi; Dave Armstrong’s brand new single Love Has Gone. This however, will not fade away for some time, I can assure u that.

Just using the term "the Hip-Hop Macarena"... But well, the highest digital selling song in the history is a big slap in the face to all them haters out there. The Pop It Off Boyz is one of the crews following the craze, here’s the brand new video for Crank Dat Batman.

I’m just guessing wild over here but I think that the Crank Dat-hype will stick around for a long time whether u like it or not.

Patrick Swayze’s She’s Like The Wind may be the cheesiest track in the entire history, therefore I’m quite surprised that this video by Ruff Sqwad’s Slix is so clean as it is. Well, we have the annoying split screen effect with fluffy clouds and the fire flames, but that’s pretty much it. I expected a sunset, footsteps in the sand on the beach and other things that were labeled as the true essence of romance in the 1980’s. Like a candle lit wining and dining of seafood and white wine, rose petals spread on satin sheets and a girl in pink feather slippers and a salmon pink nightgown.

The end of the video however outshines the She's Like The Wind-part. Well, here’s another one on the topic of love.

Wiley has really stepped his game up, Sunday night’s Boy Better Know x Roll Deep-set on Rinse was proof enough. He has now announced that "Grimewave" will be out in the end of February/beginning of March. It’s not an album, it’s not a mixtape, it’s an underground independent release. It will be available nationwide no exclusives online. Where You Gonna Hide however, is from Wiley’s forthcoming 4th album called "Race Against Time" which is planned to hit u sometime in June, and as he says in this, this time he’s putting 100% in, well, all I can say, it was about time. LOVE IT!

Yeah, I admit it, at first I didn’t understand the hype about Sexual Eruption, not for a second. T-Pain has managed to get the voice box-effect played out for like eons from now and the video was just a rendevouz with a crappy video from the 1970’s. Well, I was wrong. The official remix is out of this world. I mean, Lil' Kim and a voice box, that’s fucking NEW and innovative. No matter what this lady might say;

Some 32-year-old wasteMAN has reported the track in question to the police, cuz he feels violated by its lyrics. He doesn’t want to be pointed out to be a rapist just cuz he doesn’t dance. BOO HOO (insert care face), I personally think that police already has too many cases of REAL rapes and sexual violence to clear up before this is taken serious by anyone, seriously.

Anyway, The new DJ Webstar and Ron Brownz album is coming soon, in wait for it, they give u these goodies, all 3 of them is damn fine dance anthems, esp. Can You Dance and Like This, and this is addressed directly to the whiny stiff man on the dance floor, DANCE OR GO HOME!

The censored and official one however, so plain and boring, if ur gonna do it soft, do it the wallflower pinup way, like KanYe and Jamie Foxx did in Gold Digger. However, the track compensates the lack of azz.

Dem Franchize Boyz’s new album "At the Point of No Return" will be released the 26th of February, the first single called Talkin' Out Da Side Of Ya Neck is already out, it’s a decent track but this one is so much better, it doesn’t need to be all fancy, sometimes less is in fact more and this is a certified club banger. It’s taken from their brand new mixtape called "The White Tee Gang" but will also be on the album, yeah I can picture the video, a crazy dance and at least one part of the summer 2008 is saved. Roll your arms, and just put 'em in rotation!

I’m still in Hultsfred. Didn’t move last week due to the weather, heavy snow storm, u know the drill. Right now it’s raining cats and dogs so I’m outta here in 3 days. Well, former Eskibeat’s youngster Chipmunk’s "Wheatear the Weather" takes me back to the early days of summer, cherry blossoms and working on a proper tan. This is his debut video and I must say, I’m surprised, didn’t expect it to be this... clean.

Been loving this remix of the track for a while now, with the best of the youth like Hoodstar’s Ice Kid and Griminal (the younger brother of Lil’ Nasty from Nasty Crew).
