_080630: So Let's Party B

I KNOW how this sounds, but last night I dreamt about Dizzee Rascal. No, not _that_ kind of a dream, I wish it was cuz this was just pretty fucked up. Dizzee ran between different student dorms in Uppsala, followed by Semtex and then after came Jammer, in the green and purple Murkle Man-suit, screaming with a high squeaky voice and he was flopping his hair in everybody’s faces as his "superhero weapon" which made people vanish into the sky. Wiley stood in a corner, all grumpy and shit surrounded by all RWD/Grime-forum kidz throwing themselves at him as wolves feeds on sheep, Logan Sama’s face was a toilet and everyone took a good shit and grabbed and pulled his nose to flush. Then I don’t remember anything else other than it was all in bright rainbow colors, I always dream in color for some reason, I’ve heard that’s unusual? However, don’t know what this dream meant, probably that I’m a stressed out psyko bitch? Def, stressed out.

Anyway, I woke up all sweaty and my heart pounded like a hammer, like after a nightmare but I laughed at the same time at the Sama situation, though it was a proper home for him along with the buddies piss, shit and asswhipe. Blabla, nuff about that piece of crap. Today’s the Dance Wiv Me-single released digitally, cop it over here. The maxi includes the remixes by Agent X and Niteryders. Quite funny that’s the same persons that remixed this as well as Wearing My Rolex. But it doesn’t matter when the remixes are as good as they are, absolutely love the bassline one from Agent X! If u wanna add the sweet watermelon-colored cover to ur collection, it’s out in stores from the 7th of July.

_080629: Chop and Bubble Gum

I will probably never get the magic equation between men and motors, like my neighbors right down from my flat. Two guys, 16-17 years of age, and all they do is polishing and hanging around their mopeds, day in, day out. Like okay, ur 17 (at tops), how about adding chicks, booze, partying to the time planner instead? So no, I will never get it. Especially not how u can name ur click after a motor vehicle like The Chopper City Boyz. I know, the name is so cheesy it’s ironic but come on, it may fit a group of old men on motorcycles and that’s it.

Aside from the heavy burden of having to bear that name on their shoulders Chopper City Boyz have suffered some rough months recentley. Former member Michael "VL Mike" Allen, 32, (who departed from the group after their first album release) was shot in April when he was getting out of a vehicle in the 4700 block of Miles Drive by a man who approached and opened fire. But the I guess the really hard grieving time is over since they are looking for someone to fill the void and be the new Chopper City Boy. They also have a new album on the way along with B.G. called "Chopper City Boyz featuring B.G.: Live From The Concrete Jungle"-compilation which will drop on August 26th. Their first single Bubble Gum is really really good on an awesome production. Those candy-topic tracks, I never get bored, my fave track-topic besides shoes I think. And yeah sex of course, but I thought that was a given by now.

_080628: Powder The Nose Deep

OOOH MY DIDDY! Peeps, _THIS_ is how a proper remix should be executed! Just listen and learn how Roll Deep takes on N.E.R.D.’s Everyone Nose. It keeps the essence of the original track but is at the same time a completely different one in itself. I’m glad that grime seems to be on the hype again, generating posts on mainstream hipster blogs and so on, it was about time that the boring electro and Ed Banger hype died. Maybe it’s also because the state of grime is better this year, the grime scene have had time to develop, mature and grow. It’s definitely breeding hit after hit after hit nowadays. Roll Deep’s third studio album (with the current title: "Return of the Big Money Sound") will be released the 1st of September.

_080627: Whoa And My Sneakers

The well hyped 43 minutes long record mix A-Trak has done for Nike+ (LOVE the cover artwork) was released the 24th and I’ve actually nicked this track from A-Trak’s feature on KanYe’s blog (yeah I read it, but I’m really ashamed of it since all posts are like: "This is Cassie, she’s a model and a singer and most known for her track 'Me and U'". Like yeah, REALLY?! BIG NEWS PEEPS, stop the presses!). But nuff about KanYe’s writing skillz, the story behind this as A-Trak tells it: "The version that's on sale features my boy Kid Cudi but I originally had Lupe on that track. We couldn't get clearance for Lu so I had to take him off. But now that the record's out, you can have his version. A present... from me to you". And we do like presents, don’t we? One other thing, A-Trak is booked to Gothenburg along with Kid Sister as two of the club acts on the Way Out Festival in August. Gonna be a blast since I’ve always missed out every time when they have been here.

_080627: Shawty Say

Mr. Mississippi’s new album "The Greatest Story Ever Told" is due to be released the 15th of July and this track with Lil’ Wayne speaks of how good it’s going to be, just listen to the first 3 seconds, wonderful! I was skeptical of the album at first when Hello leaked in May, a boring ass track where David Banner had sampled some Young Jeezy stuff from Shawty Lo’s Dey Kno but that track is not on the official tracklist, thank God. Sampling Lollipop is much better. Lil' Wayne himself is about to shoot the Got Money-video and keeps us updated with Weezy blog #2 and some Dollicia Bryan:

Another track that hopefully will be straight fire from "The Greatest Story Ever Told" is Hold On with a production from Lil’ Jon and Ball With Me on a Nitti beat. Well, my hopes are high! Speaking of Shawty Lo for that matter, the official video for the Foolish remix is finally out, here’s the result:

Yeah, I’m about to jump on the superficial and shallow train again. Say what u like, but T.I. is way better looking than Shawty Lo so if it was down to looks, T.I. would win the beef on walkover basically, but I really like this track. However, is it just me who’s going nuts after hearing the same old same old DJ Khaled intro all the time? I like Khaled actually but his voice are starting to getting on my nerves. Yeah, for the ghetto, for the hood. Blablablaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Enough already.

.mp3: David Banner ft. Lil' Wayne - Shawty Say (YSI) // (zShare)

_080626: Mr. Munk's Fist

I was mentioning Chipmunk the other day and also yesterday and here’s the brand new video for his first single from the upcoming debut album "I Am Chipmunk". Chippy will release a mixtape called "Guess Who?" for free via his MySpace-page the 7th of July as promotion for the forthcoming album release. Muhammad Ali is not the best track he’s done but it’s far from bad.

.mp3: Chipmunk - Muhammad Ali (YSI) // (zShare)

_080626: Built Like Dat

What can I say, the wait for "Last 2 Walk" was _well_ worth. Despite that and the cheesy album title and all, Juicy J and DJ Paul are the last men standing and they’re standing tall. 22 tracks in its smallest release, filled with potential hits. However, I dislike one thing about the album thou, the horrible collabo with Good Charlotte. The track in itself is rather good actually, but the choice to put Good Charlotte on it is very poor judgment. Like the whole Busta Rhymes ft. Linkin’ Park joke, oh how I wish that the world would get over this rock/rap clash NOW! I’m so afraid that "Crunk Rock" (if it really comes) will turn into all that shitty shit, let’s keep our fingers crossed that it won’t, cuz I can’t stand any more of it. Well, here’s one of the iTunes-bonus-tracks with Project Pat on it.

.mp3: Three 6 Mafia ft. Project Pat - Built Like Dat (iTunes Bonus Track) (YSI) // (zShare)

_080625: We Say BooKoo

For me BooKoo is a cartoon about some lazy cow which ran when I was a child but now I have to rewrite my vocabulary cuz BooKoo according to Yung Joc means everything that is big and good. U may have heard it in Ha by former Cash Money artist Juvenile and in Yung Joc’s verse on the remix of Soulja Boy’s Donk and here it is again, as the title of the first official single from Yung Joc’s upcoming album "Mr. Robinson Neighborhood" which will drop sometime this fall. It’s not It’s Going Down (tracks like that come like once a year at tops) but the production is straight fire and I can really see this one be a hit.

.mp3: Yung Joc - BooKoo (Dirty) (YSI) // (zShare)

_080625: No, No, Nonono, Nono

I’m not that into r'n'b to be honest, it’s more or less Kellz in my ears and that’s enough for me. That’s why I’ve neglected Jay Sean. Waaay too sleazy for my taste and not in the good way. But the Boy Better Know-camp alongside with Chipmunk and MC Zani makes his new hit Stay bearable, thank God, even Frisco is doing a good job at it:

The Nono and Ayay-parts really sticks, doesn't they? Kinda like the good ol' 2 Unlimited There's No Limit, nonos feeding on the brain. Well, anyway the single will be released the 7th of July with this remix on it as well. But the video is doing nothing for me I’m afraid, like yeah yeah, some green laser, Skeppy’s furry hats and so on, the funniest thing must be Chimpunks face, esp. at 1:49, just take a look at that facial expression, it’s to die for! Someone must have been taking an acting course or something.

Speaking of Kellz for that matter, say what u want about that man, hopefully he’s glad to be dropped on all sex charges, even the girl denies it and I’m a big believer that the girl has right and that the man is guilty in these cases. Cuz really, to be a girl and lie about sexual assault, rape and things like that is more or less shooting urselft in the head. But anyway, the girl herself claims it’s not her caught on tape and Kellz has a new album on his way called "12 Play: Fourth Quarter". The title says it all, it’s the fourth installment of the 12 Play-series and Hair Braider is confirmed to be the first single, and this one will be on the album as well. Can picture some large nature scenery, a bunch of knotted fists in big movement at the sky and sad eyes for the video. And of course, some mandatory female skin in skimpy black laced grannie panties.

.mp3: R. Kelly - Playas Get Lonely (YSI) // (zShare)

_080624: Lemonade With Ice

If u thought the beef between 50 and KanYe was ridiculous, this one is even worse, at least in Ice-T’s case. How on earth does a 49 year old man come to that breaking point that he screams like a child that Soulja Boy should eat dick and accusing him for killing hip hop? Is Mr. piggy bank hungry Ice-T? Not a very smart move to make that "Ice-T’s Rap School" movie in 2006, was it? It seems more or less like jealousy that Soulja Boy makes it bigger and bigger each day, only at the age of 17, and that Ice-T is becoming an old grumpy man. Hip hop is not dead, it’s live, and like all living things it needs to develop, other it will stagnate and in the long run, die. To be a complete reactionary jerk like Ice-T and Nas is not helping the scene either. Just the bare fact that Ice-T is born in 1958 and Soulja Boy is born in 1990, two DIFFERENT contexts, it’s not even comparable. Soulja Boy has my back as well as KanYe’s. The boy is 17 ffs. This from KanYe’s blog is the smartest thing that has come out from his mouth in ages:

Soulja boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is sposed to be. He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain’t Hip Hop then what is? A bunch of wannabe keep it real rappers that ain’t even relevant, recycling samples trying to act like it’s 96 again and all they do is hate on new shit? Niggas always talk about the golden age but for a 13 year old kid, this is the golden age!!! That song was so dope cause everything he said had a hidden meaning… that’s Nas level shit… he just put it over some steel drums which is also some Nas shit if you had the 2nd album cassette with the bonus track “Silent Murder” on it. In closing… new niggas get ya money$$$$$$$$$$ Keep this shit fresh and original…. ain’t no fuckin’ rules to this shit and that’s what real hip hop is to me..

Here’s Soulja Boy’s brand new cartoon response to Ice-T:

Listen to the first respons below: "You was wrong for that. Think about it in my shoes. This time last year I was poor as fuck. I was in the hood, I was in the ghetto. If what you living is true, you would understand where I’m coming from…I’m 17 years old, I worked hard for this shit. Even if I got all this off one song, you should be congratulating me. Real talk, you should be telling me congratulations young brother, get your money. That’s what you should be saying, instead of 'eat a dick" and where Soulja Boy has yet another point, if u don’t like it, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, IF U THINK HIP HOP IS DEAD, BRING IT BACK TO LIFE instead of whining like a bored parrot!

_080624: Double Trouble From Day

Youngster Double S' (part of the Grime collective Marvell, which is part of Alwayz Recordings) mixtape "Money’s Da Motive" is sure one of the best the grime scene has seen in days, make sure u cop it! Loved Double S when he sprayed like crazy on the remix of Chipmunk's Who Are U and his first and current single From Day is no exception. The track is produced by True Tiger's Misty Dub and here’s the fresh video:

.mp3: Double S - From Day (YSI) // (zShare)

_080623: Never Get It, Whip It

I’ve listened to "Tha Carter III" on constant repeat the past weeks and Weezy is well worth all the good reviews and kind words esp. when he opens the A Millie Freemix from the mixtape "The Carter After The Carter" with the words: A Milli-on sold, First day I went gold, How do I celebrate? Work on Tha Carter IV. And since "Tha Carter III" was that good I’m so happy this one has surfaced, on a solid production by David Banner and probably another nyce leftover from the album. I’m not that sure about Lil’ Wayne’s decision to form a super group along with T-Pain but I’ll guess it will be great, somehow. It usually do, it’s Weezy Wee. While I’m at it, I’ll take the chance to re-up the awsome Whip it track as well.

_080623: What's The Color Cam?

Woop woop! I’m back in Gothenburg: my flat, my bed, my bandwidth. It’s all bliss. Don’t know what the color of my aura would be right now, probably pointy rainbowish or something, sharp edges. No, I haven’t turned into the hippie new age side, My Aura is the first single from one of the best pair of cheekbones alive: of Killa Cam'ron's upcoming 6th album "Crime Pays" and debut on SRC Records, hopefully out this summer. The album was first called "Shade of Black", later "Killa Season 2" and "Courtesy Curtis". I miss the Cam that was on about color-coordination and style instead of ongoing beefs. My Aura is about the situation what has been going on with Cam'ron and also the Dipset family after Cam'ron's hostile and absolute hilarious call to HOT 97 for 50 Cent. This song is also about bringing back The Diplomats that has been left in the shadow since 2004's release "Diplomatic Immunity 2". DIP DIP Baby!

_080619: Beat That

My parents Internet has been down for some hours, during that time ALOT has happened. It’s like, log on and welcome to a new world order!

1. The Swedish government voted YES to the whole FRA-law-circus. 143 votes pros vs. 138 cons.
2. Russia kicked Sweden out of the football championship.
3. My stomach is so puffed up, as well as my lips. My mouth looks like a heavy beaten pussy and my stomach like I’m 6 months pregnant or something. I’m in such pain! Too many strawberries perhaps?

Well, I dunno, mostly I’m in pain due to the FRA-shit. HOW on earth did that happen? WHY? It’s scary and if the police want to check someone’s e-mail and traffic on the streets of Internet they have the authority to do so already. To check and log all traffic and correspondence between people is sick and belongs in some old Big Bro-state, and why oh why does neutral little pisstake Sweden have run along with that shit? Now I’m gonna crawl into bed and watch "2001 A Space Odyssey" from 1968, the terror spread by HAL 9000 seems way more friendly then whole FRA-buiz.

I’m not gonna whine about the football, let’s just say that I hate the ugly Russian that looks like living Tjernobyl accident and with one too many chromosomes and a last name beginning with an A-something-something. To cheer things up, and reconnect to the happy pic and the state of my mouth, a mindless, stupid, _wonderful_ new track by V.I.C. BEAT THAT!

.mp3: V.I.C. - Beat That (YSI) // (zShare)

_080617: Let It Fly

The long wait for "Crunk Rock" to drop is nearly becoming ridiculous now when all pushed back albums like "Tha Carter III" and "Last 2 Walk" actually hitting the streets, the new date for Lil’ Jon’s solo –album is a vague "sometime in 2008". What’s even more ridiculous is that the relation between TVT and Lil’ Jon is that infected that he got cut out from E-40’s Turf Drop from E-40’s upcoming album. The new version without him is bland, lacking some oumf and not to let E-40 use Lil Jon’s original vocals seems to be a _bad_ decision. Then, I can’t say that Lil’ Jon’s vision to work with acts like P.O.D and Kid Rock are some good decision making either, I miss the Lil’ Jon from like 2004. This new song from Trick Trick ft. Lil Jon and Ice Cube brings some of that old flavor, throw ur hood up! Trick Trick’s new album "The Villain" will drop sometime this summer.

.mp3: Trick Trick ft. Lil' Jon and Ice Cube - Let It Fly (YSI) // (zShare)

_080616: Ms. Candy Rap

No, I’m not on a train to Gothenburg. So nyce, yesterday evening I made the decision to stay at my parents in Hultsfred yet another week. So I’m gonna post this then head down to Hultsfred Centrum (hahaha just one small road of shut downed shops, it’s quite tragic from when I was a child and there actually was a commerce going on down there) to visit my grannie and drink coffee on her balcony. Calm and serenity here I come. Another nyce thing, season 4 of Weeds starts tonight. I’m such a TV-junkie, I know, but I like Weeds aside from the product placing of 10 Deep’s ugly clothes and Coke Light. Who the fuck drinks Coke Light? Aspartame makes ur stomach to MOULD! Fresh, not! But If I would marry one chick, Nancy Botwin would be one of my main targets. Another of the prospects would be Rasheeda.

She, The Queen of Crunk aka. The Georgia Peach aka. Ms. Bubblegum will lead a show on BET this year called "The Boom Bap" and has her fifth studio album coming out soon called "Certified Hot Chick" and she carries on with the food theme in Juicy Like A Peach and so on. The lead single from the album is called Let It Go produced by Shawty Redd and it’s quite alright. But the best from Rasheesy this year must be her verse on this newest, fresh out the oven Lollipop remix. She absolutely kills it!

_080616: Step On My Shoe

If u wanna piss me off easily, just step on my shoe. It’s as simple as that. It’s like a big slap in my face and I'll switch right into the common bitch behaviour-mode. I demand apologies at least usually followed by a drink to lick my wounds. Stained crispy whites = a stained self. It’s usually guys who do this and I sure don’t know why. One time a guy did this repeatedly to get my attention, like okay, yeah I’m gonna fuck u ‘til u cry if u step on my feet numerous of times, yeah, a really good pick-up idea, I must say, z_z. Holla at Neil Strauss, he might be interested? Then on the other hand, I’ve also experienced the right opposite. A totally fucked up dude who played dog and actually licked my shoes, remember him Ghaz? Slave boy deluxe, would be good for some heavy s/m-play, but I’m not into that sooooo pass.

Well, my shoes are the most expensive things in my outfit and I don’t want a random fuckface to ruin them just cuz he has no clue on where his feet are. So watch yo feet boy! Anyway, I’ve always hated Nelly but lately he has cleaned up his act, with Bay, Wadsyaname and this, the forthcoming 3rd single from his upcoming album "Brass Knuckles" which drops August 19, Stepped On My J’s with Jermaine Dupri (on production as well) and Ciara.

_080614: Butt and Breast-Jam

After a whole tardy day on different buses and trains back and forth I’m finally at my parents in Hultsfred. It’s so strange. It’s all silent. Usually every single sound from the festival hits down to our house but not tonight, and I who wanted Robyn to sing me to sleep. I feel quite strange as well, broke down on the bus somewhere in the lovely woods. Broke down when I got home and took a shower, just started to shake and broke now when I plugged in my lappie and read all my mail and so on. Don’t know why, I feel so stressed out and unsatisfied with everything. LOST. I was supposed to take the train 06.28 Monday morning back to Gothenburg but if it’s possible to rearrange all my meetings and things I’ll try to stay in Hultsfred a bit longer, I feel that I need to breathe, just be able to relax. Get some energy.

Well, I imagen the BPA (BRIGHTON PORT AUTHORITY) on SouthernFriedRecords to be the perfect festival band. Would be like gold for a festival like Hultsfred but they are not my cup of tea really, too much power pop, too much indie and way too much comic sans on their MySpace-profile. BUT I do like Dizzee so I let this one pass. Listened to a bunch of old Dizzee classics on my way down here to reminisce the whole rainy night a year ago. I know how this sounds but I don’t think Dizzee could disappoint me in any way, he is one of a kind. His voice, his flow, his ability to always be right and on point. Sure, he’s not the best at freestyling but that’s a thing I can overlook. The only thing I can hate about Dizzee might be his absolute horrible taste in ladies, like the one he chose in Uppsala, a butt ugly indie chick, bet she had her 'ugly'-panties on; her friend, the chick that went to the hotel with Scope def had her on. Who does that? Who has ugly-panties on besides when u have ur period? And out partying? Or am I just a neat freak? Am I too shallow? Perhaps. Blablabla, I’m such a hater when I feel like this, sorry. Look at the video instead, it’s everything bu(t) ugly:

.mp3: The BPA ft. David Byrne and Dizzee Rascal - Toe Jam (YSI) // (zShare)

_080614: You WOT?!

I’m bored to death. This trip didn’t go my way at all. Instead of being in Stockholm zipping rum drinks and stuff like that I’m trapped in Uppsala in my sister’s dorm room, all alone, sick as hell. I haven’t met anyone besides my family. A pure social disaster really. But I’ve seen every single football match on the telly so far, and as I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of the sport. I would make a killer girlfriend thou, since every single guy I fancy likes football. Note even, me and my best girlfriend belled each other to speak about the Italian game, dedication! Yeah, I witnessed the Italian breakdown earlier, it would have been much nicer to watch if Fabio Cannavaro would have been well and on the field instead of on the bench in a big cast. But well, then Holland vs. France and Thierry Henry was out on the grass, thank God, some eye candy at last. The Swedish team really lacks some good looking guys, Zlatan looks like a ‘tard when he scores and Freddie is not my cup of tea, and Henrik Larsson, nah, he’s not rocking my boat either.

Been on about how cute DJ Q is on his byline pic on BBC 1Xtra and here’s the official video for You Wot with MC Bonez! Instead of partying in Stockholm I’m in my sofa coughing and sweating to this. Bassline as its finest. Fo’ sho! But yet again, who dress the models in this metallic shit from American Apparel over and over again?! Other than that, a very nyce video:

Love the BBQ, haha. Well, the single is available for download from the 14th of July and then in all good record shops from the 21st.

_080611: Whip It, Cream It, Lick It

The Quart festival in Norway has been cancelled, so sad to hear that the company behind it has been filed for bankruptcy. Speaking of festivals, the Hultsfred festival starts tomorrow and this is the first time ever that I don’t feel like going. I’ve only missed one year of the festival since it began in 1986, it was in 2005 and I was so pissed but there was nothing I could do. I wanted to see JME and the whole grime-block but this year the bookings are like a yeah yeah so what, been there, seen that, so many times before. The only thing I got hyped about was Paul Wall but then his label cancelled, so no, there’s no act on the program I’ve got the urge to see. Roskilde’s lineup on the other hand, oh my diddy!

But I’m gonna get my dosage of the Hultsfred festival either way, since I’m gonna head home to Hultsfred on Saturday to visit my grannie and rest of the family before I go back to Gothenburg early Monday morning, Anyway, a booking to get hyped about would have been Lil’ Wayne. It’s so fun that "Tha Carter III" which was officially released yesterday IS a good record and proves all the haters wrong, funniest thing must be that Diddy already calls it a 'classic'. Whip It produced by Deezle is one of the bonus tracks. LOVE it. And here's 2 remixes of Lollipop as well. Frist, DJ Sega's with the good ol' Millie Small and second, some ghetto tech done by DJ Pino.

_080611: I Got

Three 6 keep putting out bangers, here’s another leaked track from "Last 2 Walk" with Project Pat and the late Pimp C on the hook. Feels strange to type the late Pimp C, just to think of people dead is so strange. But Paul and Juicy J and are still alive and kicking, can’t say this track brings something new and special to the table topic wise really; money, hoes, clothes... But still a very nyce track.

.mp3: Three 6 Mafia ft. Pimp C and Project Pat - I Got (YSI) // (zShare)

_080610: No Spandex Involved

I’m not a huge fan of football; I think it’s a rather dull sport to be honest. Handball on the other hand, constant ACTION and action speaks louder than words in my book. But I'm just semi wtaching the UEFA EURO 2008 since I’ve finally got my lappie back from my sister (she had to finish off her last essay for Uni and she has not a proper version of office on hers) and I can catch things up on the site, so sorry for the heavy drought the past days peeps. I’ve managed to get a cold and just lie around in my sisters former dorm room feeling just shitty and weak and it’s half time in the match between Sweden and Greece. England has not qualified for this cup, such a sad story really. Did u know that Kano was such a good player that if he had not been where he is in the music game, he probably would have been in the English team?! But I’m quite glad that he chose music over football, otherwise this new tune (that I’ve mentioned in an earlier post) from Tinchy Stryder would not have seen the light of day. Kano and Fraser T Smith on the production and here’s the full official video:

Got some issues thou, plz who cast these chicks in last season’s American Apparel? Why do they just stand there like stupid infantile sacks of meat? Move the bacon or at least do SOMETHING? That’s not eye candy to me, it’s just annoying. Tinch, chains and the new "Star In The Hood"-t-shirts had been more than enough. I’m not a huge fan of Kocky either, thou I liked the Grandma-track with Mapei on his last album, but I think La Vida Locash does big things around here but I don’t like Kocky’s voice, think he should have stayed on the production side however, I like this track, but most cuz Tinch are on it:

It’s taken from Kocky’s new album "Stadium Status" out now on La Vida Locash. Tinchy’s Stryderman released July 21st on digital download.

.mp3: Kocky ft. Tinchy Stryder - 4ever Juvenile (YSI) // (zShare)

_080608: Tickle Me Elmooo

So sorry peeps for the lack of posts the past days, but I’ve e been so damn busy catching up with my family and stuff like that. However, the past months I’ve been listening to Chi-Town’s HotStylz YouTube hit Lookin' Ass Nigga on constant repeat and now it has been remastered and changed into this more radio-friendly Lookin’ Boy. The first verse done by member Raydio is so sick! LOVE IT!

And this wonderful remix added with a verse from R. Kelly, who does a "lookin’ girl" verse that fits _perfectly_ with the song’s overall comedic pace. HotStylz will drop their debut album "Good Humor" later this year.

Btw, speaking of Yung Joc (aka Pak Man), here he's on the official remix for Soulja Boy's Donk. LOVELY!

_080604: Juicy J Hit The Street

UH! I hate to pack, I hate do decide what to wear for the next 10 days, hate to chose the right shoes etc. etc. But I’m gonna post this, then pack, and then stress down to the bus to catch my train to Hultsfred. However, this made my stressful morning, Juicy J trying to pick up chicks and introduce himself to the rest of the Swedish people on a big street right in Malmö city:

HAHA! No, we’re not that rude, we Swedes, but when someone shouts at u on the street they either a) wanna sell something (usually some new crappy phone subscription) b) are drunk or really sunk deep into a heavy decadence state c) suffer from a mental disorder. That’s not the general way to approach people, u know the typical Swede is quite modest and quiet. But if Juicy J would have shouted - "Ay baybaby" at me, I would have given him SOME response at least. "Last 2 Walk", just 20 days to go!

_080602: Dance Wiv Me (Official)

Woop Woop! Here it is, the official video for the track of summer 2008:

Single out 7th of July and expect a big remix from Agent X as well. Speaking off Agent X, here's the Wearing My Rolex remix, the full version. So funny, I hope Bless Beats got a huge amount of money from Atlantic cuz the instrumental is to my happy surprise featured in the commercial for the "Pussycat Dolls Presents: Girlicious"-show here in Sweden this week, nyce, but very unexpected.

_080602: Make It Reign

It’s very typical Swedish manners to talk about the weather, or to complain about it, I know, but seriously it’s sooo hot right now. It’s only morning and I’m melting away since it nearly 30 degrees outside! So I’m gonna post this then head down to this wonderful beach I've just discovered, just 3 small minutes from my house, by the real ocean! LOVE where I live right now, got my new contract for this flat Fridays and I’ll stay here until the 31st of October. Such bliss, leaving Uppsala and Stockholm behind was like the best decision of this year!

Anyway, here’s another great, and for me, new discovery. Got a message from this 23-year old girl called Jimmie Reign hailing from Bay Area on MySpace and she sent me some tracks, and it was all like the weather, super HOT HOT HOT! And there’s more to the story, she’s like a mix of the beauty and flyness of Aaliyah, the writing prowess of Alicia Keys, and then as the cherry on top, add the vocal talent of Tamia and her take on being single is this: "There's nothing wrong with NOT settling. There's no such thing as being "too picky". I know what I want and I'm willing to be patient until he comes around". Need I say more?!

Presently she is working on projects with Damon Eden- A&R for Atlantic Records who has credits on albums from Pretty Ricky to Trick Daddy and I gave her previous mixtape "Go Girl" a listen, where all tracks are produced by Traxamillion, and yeah, I loved it. Her album "Pretty Girl" will be out this year. However, now I’m gonna put down the wonderful Make You Wait-single on my .mp3-player and get down to the beach, I advise u all doing the same.

_080602: Beat Yo Azz On Dis Train

Public transports may be the best way to take u places besides by foot, but every now and then these psykos turn up. They usually are male (at least what I’ve experienced) and they act hella crazy. Last time I was approached by one was a normal day, around noon when this creeeeeepy guy in his mid 20’s approached every single girl who sat alone on the bus. He just sat down on me basically and started to ask very rude questions, and when I put on my /ignore-face he just moved to another chick and started to whole thing over again. Then he started to touch this young 12-year old and NO ONE was doing anything. Everyone was just minding their own business and pretended that it was all good in the hood. I didn’t do anything either, I was just cooking up with rage from inside, paralyzed. Then my stop finally came and I ran off that bus the fastest I could, in a panic angst state. It was all so creepy cuz he looked like a normal dude, no Rocky Dennis-face, just fucked up in his head or on some heavy drugs. But I’ve never been approached by a chick like this:

She just some crazy fun, but maybe that old lady on the MARTA-train was not as amused as I am, but if a chick like this would start recite Soulja Boy lyrics at me, I would go at her so hard that she didn’t know what hit her. Anyway, the police issued a warrant for this young woman that called herself Soulja Girl and now (cuz I’m so late on this) she’s been caught. The story is not that funny in real life sadly, she suffers from an illness, here her sister and boyfriend tells the whole (quite tragic) story:

But something bad can also bring something good to the table, in this case these remix videos:

First one is done by Napoleon Solo and the second one by Jesus Was A Black Jew Productions. Love 'em both, I spoke about squeaky voices the other day, and this is just exactly what I mean, LOVE girl voices like Soulja Girls. And just to clear things out, everyone on the bus/train is not crazy, Fridays when I went from Uddevalla this cute chick started giving me huuuge compliments for my dress and earrings so don’t be afraid to take a public transport, save the planet. Nuff about transport vehicles, here’s the brand new official dance for Soulja Boy’s iDance. That crazy leg bending/crotch popping-move is completley off the hook!

_080601: Herrre Kitty Kitty Katt

The amount of big official crunked up female anthems are quite small, yeah we have Crime Mob’s Stiletto Pumps and Khia’s My Neck – My Back and some more, but that’s pretty much it, until now. Cuz here’s Ka-Meko Terrell aka. Kitty Katt with the official female Crank Dat-anthem. And even if I’m quite over the whole Crank Dat-craze, this works very well. Kitty Katt were one of the close finalists to be on the "Miss Rap Supreme"-show on VH1 and would have been a much better choice than Khia that disqualified herself in the second episode, but well, love Kitty Katt’s voice and this new free mixtape of hers hosted by J-Kwon ft. Diamond and Fabo is really good. It's filled with nyce crunk bangers like the golden oldie U So Thick. Btw, here’s the official Crank Dat Kitty Katt-dance, toss that Superman-cape out the window and jump into the cat suit instead!

_080601: Weezy IS Alfred Nobel

OH MY! How can u not be completely head over heels in love with Lil’ Wayne after hearing this interview from Foundation Magazine on the topic of mixtape DJ-s and the comparison with himself to the good ol’ Swede Alfred Nobel?

I know, guys with a huge ego like this can be such a turn off, but in Weezy’s case it’s quite the opposite for me, cuz all that ego boosting it’s not unjustified. Like the fact that he actually thinks that he IS the greatest rapper alive and absolutely love the answer to: - "Who’s on Carter III?" - "ME?!".

- "Carter III" comes June 10th, that's the real shit, go get it or don't go get it, suck my dick, I'm smelling myself, I'm too good".

Anyway, Weezey's high pitch saga continues... With this remix for Got Money (the 3rd single from the last episode of the Carter-series). It also features some Rihanna Ella Ella Eyyys and I actually like this more than the original version.
